Bananas Before Bed

When I was little, I used to make tons and tons of tapes. Many were my best friend Mineh and I making skits, many were songs I would sing along with my fisher price record player, many were the audio to my favorite show (The Cosby Show), which I would listen to all week until it was on again. Unfortunately, most of these tapes have been misplaced over the years. A few years ago, I did find one that was just labeled “RADIO.” I was totally jazzed and figured it must have been songs that I taped off the radio to listen to on the way to various sporting events.  So, excited by the unearthing of this relic, my friend JJ and I decided to take this tape and listen to it on his boombox as we cruised around town on our bikes.

Then we discovered, it was just this song. Over and over and over again. Both sides. Oh, 7th grade me.
